Currently, When an artwork sells through a gallery, the full payment often goes into the gallery’s account before the artist is paid.
Most galleries act professionally. But when payments are delayed, records are unclear, or a gallery runs into financial difficulty, artists can be left exposed, sometimes after work has already been sold and collected.

The gallery enters the artwork details, sale price and agreed artist/gallery split.
1. The gallery creates a protected payment link
ArtistSafe can sit behind an existing “Acquire” or “Buy” button, or be used after a collector enquiry.
2. The link is added to the gallery website or sent privately
The buyer completes payment through a secure checkout.
4. The sale is split and recorded
The payment flow is designed to split the sale between the artist, gallery and ArtistSafe platform, with a clear record of the transaction and agreed shares.
